Fifth Principle: Expectations - Emma’s Story I may have made mistakes, but I am somebody. I may be young, but I am somebody. I may not have always done the right thing, However, respect me, one day I will be somebody. Extract from 'The Seven Principles of RESPECTisms For Teens' My name is Emma, this is my story. I know what you’re thinking about me already. “Spoilt little kid who comes from a good home, has all the privileges and just wants to have things all her own way.” Whatever you think, I don’t care anyway because you don’t really know me. Who are you to judge me? You don’t know what my life has been like. If you had been through what I have been through, done what I have had to do… then, you would understand. But you have not, so don’t you judge me. Yeah, I may live in a nice house, in a nice area, have parents with lots of money, but it was not always that way for me. You see, the home I am in now is not my first home. The Hope Dealer says:
"Looks like Emma's got issues! She is spoilt and does not care who knows it. What could have happened to her to make her act that way?"
